About me
My name is Orsi Kocsis, and I am a Bristol-based designer passionate about making beautiful spaces. I design gardens, landscapes and outdoor green spaces. I aim to inspire you as much as the beauty of nature inspires me.
I graduated with distinction from the Corvinus University of Budapest as both a Landscape Architect and Garden Designer. During my years at the university and the last decade, I worked tirelessly with talented designers at well-known design studios like Grant Associates, Gillespies, Omgeving and BDP to bring to life numerous prestigious projects in the UK and overseas, like Shakespeare’s New Place visitor garden in Stratford-upon-Avon.
Since I set up Terra Mondo Design in 2020, I have been helping homeowners transform their gardens into beautiful contemporary oases. Terra Mondo Design
Terra Mondo Design was inspired by Roman mythology: Terra or Tellus was once believed to be the creator of the planet. Nowadays, we use the word terra with a much broader meaning, referring to the earth, land or territory. At the same time changing your surroundings is also a personal journey. Mondo originated from the Latin mundus, representing the idea that we always build from our social memories and cultural influences. Terra Mondo Design aims to merge these two forces to create your unique natural outdoor space.
